Know-how is a term for practical knowledge on how to accomplish something, as opposed to “know-what” (facts), “know-why” (science), or “know-who” (communication). Know-how is often tacit knowledge, which means that it is difficult to transfer to another person by means of writing it down or verbalising it. The opposite of tacit knowledge is explicit knowledge.
In the context of industrial property (now generally viewed as intellectual property - IP), know-how is a component in the transfer of technology in national and international environments, co-existing with or separate from other IP rights such as patents, trademarks and copyright and is an economic asset. While know-how is recognized in U.S. Tax regulations as a property, services by individuals having know-how are not.
Know-how can be defined as confidentially held, or better, 'closely held' information in the form of unpatented inventions, formulae, designs, drawings, procedures and methods, together with accumulated skills and experience in the hands of a licensor firm's professional personnel which could assist a transferee/licensee of the object product in its manufacture and use and bring to it a competitive advantage. It can be further supported with privately maintained expert knowledge on the operation, maintenance, use/application of the object product and of its sale, usage or disposition.
TWiT.tv, which is the operating trade name of TWiT LLC, is a podcast (although TWiT uses the term "netcast") network founded by technology broadcaster and author Leo Laporte and run by his wife and company CEO Lisa Laporte. The network began operation in April 2005 with the launch of This Week in Tech. Security Now was the second podcast on the network, debuting in August of that year. Currently, the network hosts twenty-two podcasts and live streaming shows, including The Tech Guy, This Week in Tech, Security Now, FLOSS Weekly, MacBreak Weekly, Tech News Today, Tech News 2Night, and 15 other podcasts covering various topics including technology companies, computer security, social networking, and current technology news.
TWiT founder and owner Laporte, in an October 2009 speech, stated that it grossed revenues of $1.5 million per year, while costs were around $350,000. In November 2014, American Public Media's Marketplace reported that TWiT makes $6 million in ad revenue a year from 5 million TWiT podcasts downloaded each month, mostly in the form of audio, and that 3,000 to 4,000 people watch its live-streamed shows. On March 18, 2015, prior to the filming of This Week in Google, Leo Laporte stated that TWiT expects to make $7 million in revenue in fiscal year 2015.

Love this song. Can't get it out of my head. ___________________________________________________ KINGS OF CONVENIENCE - KNOW-HOW Riding on this know-how Never been here before Peculiarly entrusted Possibly that's all Is history recorded? Does someone have a tape? Surely, I'm no pioneer Constellations stay the same Just a little bit of danger When intriguingly Our little secret Trusts that you trust me 'Cause no one will ever know That this was happening So tell me why you listen When nobody's talking What is there to know? All this is what it is You and me alone Sheer simplicity

(Vers)
I remember long ago that he wouldn't hold me or touch me at all.
I do, and I remember crying
he was the one that left me
crying with no shoulder to use.
And I remember lies,
he was one of them guys that
would look me in my eye and lie.
And I was almost through but then
I ran into you,
I'm just so glad I know you.
(cours)
I didn't know love until I met love.
I got my hands up, what would
I do if I didn't know you.
Running out of hope until I mend love
now I can stand up.
What would I do if I didn't know you.
You, what would I do if I didn't know you.
What would I do if I didn't know you.
What would I do if I didn't know you.
(If I didn't know you)
(vers)
I remember angry
he had some issues that we couldn't work through.
Oh he reminded me of jealous
always accussing me and now
I bet he's jealous of you.
And I remember bye bye
he was one of those guys that was in and out my life all the time.
I was almost through but then I ran into you
I'm just so glad I know you.
(cours x2)
I didn't know love until I met love.
I got my hands up, what would I do if I didn't know you.
Running out of hope until I mend love
now I can stand up.
What would I do if I didn't know you.
You, what would I do if I didn't know you.
What would I do if I didn't know you.
What would I do if I didn't know you.
